Stoproc was developed as a simple solution to an every day complaint, WOBBLY tables.
Inventor Keith Gild, has developed and patented the “Stoproc Table Stabilizer” after having experienced wobbly tables around the world. The screw type leveler commonly used, bend and rust in position making it impossible to adjust the base to match the floor. Table napkins, matchboxes and the like have been used in desperation to solve this problem. Having done extensive market research and attended many shows, Keith has designed a product that meets his customer’s requirements. That is a simple durable product solving the problem of wobbly tables.
He chose Glass Filled Nylon for its immense strength and durability, taking into account extreme global weather conditions. In order to make his product long lasting and maintenance free, he avoided using metal which rusts and requires painting.
The first model was aimed at the existing market as an after market fitment product, simple to fit by any restaurant owner. However the demand led him into a development program to design a modern universal Stabilized Base, which incorporates the now successful Stoproc wheel.
This development is aimed at the table manufacturer as a Retro Fit component supplied before or after market. Our first development was aimed at existing restaurant tables by making a retro fit model that could be fitted to tables already in use. When this was fully tested and up and running, we developed a specially designed Stabilized table base for use by the table manufacturers (OEM). This new base incorporates the same successful Stoproc wheel into a modern design, taking into account a low profile, smooth edged product making it comfortable for your patrons to sit at without injuring their feet or scuffing their shoes.
